[Argentina] This Cannes Film Festival winner was Argentina's Oscar submission. Alex, an intersex teenager, faces a most dangerous coming of age, leading to a decision that will seal her fate.

Alex (Inés Efron), a 15-year-old girl with both male and female sexual organs, begins to explore her sexuality. Her mother invites friends from Buenos Aires and their 16-year-old son Ãlvaro (Martín Piroyansky) to visit them at their house on the gorgeous Uruguayan shore. Alex is immediately attracted to the young man, which adds yet another level of complexity to her personal search for identity and forces both families to face their worst fears.
